Baltimore County Public Schools Registration Information
West Towson Elementary School is excited to announce that online registration is available for incoming kindergarten students and students new to our school, entering grades one through five. Since BCPS Schools and Offices remain closed until further notice, all registrations must be done virtually online.
To begin the registration process, open the BCPS website at https://www.bcps.org. The website shows a front page providing a list of links, click on the link that that says, Student Registration During Closure.
It is suggested that you gather all necessary documents before beginning the registration process. The documents needed to complete registration follow:
• Proof of Baltimore County residency in accordance with Rule 5150 (Deed or lease , photo ID (if the ID has an address on it, the address must match the address being provided for registration and 3 proofs of residency
• Certificate of birth
• Immunization record
• Copy of the child's most recent report card or any school records (if applicable)
Once you have the documents collected, click on the link: I am registering my child for the FIRST TIME in Baltimore County Public Schools. It can be found under the heading Registering Your Child. You will complete the entire registration form and upload the documents which you had previously gathered. Links to additional documents found on the registration form include the Prior Care Form, needed for all students entering kindergarten and the New Student Health History, needed for all students. Please note that a student’s registration is not final until the registration form is complete, and all documents have been received and accepted.
- If your child speaks a language other than English:
For students entering Kindergarten through Grade 5, the children will attend their zoned school and their parents should complete the online registration form above.
