Loyola-Blakefield High School Track and Field
Registration 1:30 pm
Walk Begins at 2:30 pm
What is Westy’s Walk?
It’s so many things....
It’s public education at its best.
It’s kids, parents, teachers,
businesses and community leaders coming together to create an exceptional
learning environment for our school.
It’s an old tradition made new for a new school.
This year the
West Towson Elementary School PTA, in collaboration with the Baltimore County
Education Foundation, is organizing a fun-filled afternoon of activities on the
campus of Loyola-Blakefield High School. Named after our school mascot, Westy
the West Highland Terrier, the event features a student walk-a-thon, a silent
auction, and music and food provided by area businesses.
It’s a great day for a great cause.
We all know that an active
mind benefits from an active body. We’ll be using this year’s proceeds to
enhance and improve the school’s playground. Your tax-deductible contribution
will make a difference in the education and well-being of hundreds of school
children, now and for years to come.
Please help us walk the walk…Westy’s Walk.

We NEED You!
Simply put, we cannot do it without your help. We have several essential committee chair positions open, many only requiring a few hours of your time. The magic of Westy's Walk is that when many people do a small part it is a fun and easy day for everyone. Please come to our organization meeting held on Sunday, February 9th at 4:00 pm. Please contact Jeannine Fay at firstname.lastname@example.org for details about the meeting location.
